PM, DPM fight hard, but other UMNO Ministers quiet or bungles

... few days back someone said that the Prime Minister (and the DPM too) seem to be the only ones doing all the campaigning and the fighting for the BN. I think here they were referring to the other UMNO Ministers who are either silent as door mice or saying stupid things from time to time  that just embarass the Gomen more.

The MCA has been redeemed by its president Chua Soi Lek who is fighting hard to remind the Chines community of the dangers that still face our society.  However Chua Soi Lek is not in the Cabinet.

The MIC is moving along minus any controversies since the new presient took over. I consider that an achievement for the MIC. No scandals, no fights and no arguments. The MIC seems to be the more peaceful component  among the BN parties today.  The party is making a come back among the Indians.

However the party has to come out more aggresively with programs to move the Indian community forward even faster. This does not mean that the party has to be aggressive. Only the programs to move the Indians forward must be bold and aggressive.

Where are the UMNO Ministers?  For the past couple of years it has been only the PM and the DPM at the front lines - taking all comers squarely. From time to time the Ministers do appear but they say the most ridiculous things....

UMNO Oligarchies and Warlords (Ketua Bahagian) think their Fiefdoms(Bahagian) are God given till the end of the their minds if the President did not nominate them to stand in PRU 13 next candidate will their son, if not their grandson, if not not their great grand son, and so why bother to campaign..

All quiet at battle fronts. At state levels i.e. Pahang, Trengganu, Perak, Melaka, N.S, Sabah Sarawak, even Johor, all state heads seem conspicously at lost, out of focus. No media coverage, no statement of achievement, no news,no breakthrough, nothing in papers nor on TVs. Even JMM President Azwandin appear more often in Utusan Malaysia and TV3 these days compared to say Pahang MB Adnan Yaacub and Johor Ghani both combined. Too complacent maybe or just plain indifferent playing a waiting game.. Pahang rakyat want to know what their CM is doing. They couldnot be bothered of what Kelantan MB not doing anything to the state. Even the Perlists couldn't be too interested to follow how Kedah Azizan is slipping into oblivion. The Malaccans are more anxious to know what their CM is planning for them rather than watching JMM Azwanddin playing zero sum game pleading with Nurul Izzah for clarification on TV3.

Having to see both PM and DPM not enough time and milage to cover in too short of time left before the coming PRU13, it is still not too late to start cranking all the machineries, ministers and state heads and give them a big whack on their back. Give them something to think of, something to act on and definitely, substantial amount of media coverage too.
