Nga Kor Meng: Walk your cock la ... DAP!

Nga Cleared Of Power Abuse In Lounge Suit Tender Case

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 16 -- Pantai Remis assemblyman Nga Kor Ming who was alleged of have abused his power in a lounge suit contract when he was an Ipoh City (MBI) councillor, has been cleared of any wrongdoing.

DAP Disciplinary Committee (DC) chairman Tan Kok Wai said following investigation, the committee found that the issue of power abuse by Nga did not arise as there was no evidence to show that he had exerted any influence or pressure towards awarding the RM14,400 lounge suit contract to Ethan & Elton, a tailoring company co-owned by Nga's wife, Wong Seow Ching.

"It is the DC's opinion that in the case of awarding contracts, the mere existence of a relationship between the parties concerned is not sufficient to constitute a wrongdoing meriting an actionable complaint.

"There must be some evidence to show that one has exerted influence on the subject matter or towards the decision-maker to allow an interested party to unduly benefit, which is not available in this complaint," he told a news conference after chairing the three-hour hearing at the DAP head office here, Thursday.

He said the testimonials from three former MBI councillors who were also former Tender Board members, namely Frankie Wong and Simon Ng from DAP and Khairuddin Abd Malik (Pas), showed that they were not aware that Nga's wife is a partner of the company.

What hiccock?

A power abuse has occured and Nga's wife is a beneficiary. What cock is this about power exertion? That is for adultery case la ...

Walk the talk, DAP told

By Azreen Hani Saturday, February 18, 2012

KUALA LUMPUR: DAP has come under fire for the party’s alleged hypocrisy and double standards concerning nepotism and abuse of power.

The flak follows the party disciplinary committee’s failure to take any action against Taiping MP Nga Kor Ming.

MCA central committee member Datuk Ti Lian Ker said DAP clearly practiced double standards when it comes to their member’s crime.

“Their decision not to punish Nga shows they are not walking their talk. This is their mentality. They try to cover up things like this while keep pining on the fault of others,” he said.

“DAP should uphold the sanctity of the core of the principles they claim to be fighting for. Don’t just pay lip service,” Ti advised the Opposition party leaders..

if that's the case, then Shahrizat should also be cleared if she had shown she has not exerted her influence.

    Anon 3:04 pm ...

I like you comment. Its very funny even though you sounded a bit sengal. No hard feelings ...

But honestly, if Shahrizat`s family didn`t get the project, somebody else would have gotten it, and then it may be assumed as a crony. Don`t you think so?

In the first place, if we had the finance, and the expertise, why didn`t the government (MInistry of Agriculture i.e.) take up the project. This is supplying beef to the nation.

But this doesn`t apply to pig rearing.
