Wee Ka Siong support 1Malaysia?

MCA Youth Against Bloggers' One School For All Petition

KUALA LUMPUR: The MCA Youth criticised some bloggers and an online petition supporting the "One School for All" campaign.

MCA Youth chief Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said MCA planned to take action against bloggers who claimed that vernacular schools were causing racial tension in the country.

Wee said MCA strongly disagreed with the statements made by bloggers and might lodge a police report against them or refer them to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission.

"Statements such as gejala sekolah vernakular (vernacular school symptoms) suggest Chinese and Tamil schools are a disease in society."

Wee said Chinese and Tamil schools had been in existence since independence and it was the rights of Chinese and Indians in the country to send their children to these schools. --

What a draconian thinking Minister to make a police report just to suppress a positive initiative?

Read about the 1Sekolah campaign that can help integrate children of all races and promote 1Malaysia here.

Is this Deputy Minister really supporter of 1Malaysia and deserve his post?

They have NO right to send their children to vernacular schools in Malaysia! It really create racial tensions. WKS is a chinese racist! There should not be any such schools, 50 years is enough...Tamil and Chinese should be taught in Sekolah Kebangsaan, let all races able to take these subjects, and Bahasa Iban, Kadazan,....

    Salam Bahagia,

    Kah...Kah...Kah

In the first place PM tidak sepatutnya meletakkan orang Cina sebagai Timbalan Menteri Pelajaran.

Vernacular schools are not the cause of tension in this country. If the bumi do not wants to be questioned of their rights then do not question the right of non-bumi in terms of vernacular schools. Both are in the federal constitutions.

If you want to abolish vernacular schools, then you must also abolish all agama schools, schools for royalty, private schools, international schools, cadet schools.

If you really want to show you practice true 1Malaysia, then no quota for university entries, scholarship applications and others. Can this be done? Answer sincerely before finding a scapegoat for disunity in this nation.

My opinion, 1Malaysia could never really materialised. The laws and policies already segregated the bumi and non-bumi.

I won't support Wee Ka Siong until the PKFZ scandal is honestly resolved but I also don't agree with the One School For All. Vernacular schools are progressive and most of the teachers really are dedicated because they realised that they are contributing to the community. Many of the Chinese and Tamil primary schools don't even have student halls or other important facilities and yet most parents are still sending their children to study there. That's testament of the faith we have in these schools. In a One School For All, the non-bumi teachers will be the losers when race becomes the criteria for promotions. Even amongst the bumis, promotions are not based on performance but rather who you know. Just check how many of the school principals or senior assistants have a husband or wife in the education department. The One School For All campaign is always fighting for the abolishment of the Chinese and Tamil schools yet dare not speak on other schools or institution which only cater to one particular race. That alone shows that this campaign is all bullshit. Those non-bumis who are so supportive of this campaign, why don't you raise this issue with you other friends and see the response you get. By the way, China and India are the new economic giants so shouldn't we prepare our children linguistically to survive the future?

    Hey racist assholes June 30, 2010 3:12:00 PM, June 30, 2010 3:12:00 PM, June 30, 2010 3:13:00 PM,

Read my take on the dump sites you retards call "SCHOOL" here and why they are an impediment to a cohesive nation state. And by the way I wrote it in Bahasa Kebangsaan, but if u have a problem with understanding it then it just shows that:- 1) u're a retard pendatang masquerading as a rakyat as you cant even understand the official language of your country. 2) u're the living example and an embodiment of the damaged products of the much hated gejala kilang-kilang jenis haram SJKC.

    Happy reading.
