NEWS: Polisi bodoh ADUN tidak bermoral

Keep it wild and immoral!

Presiden Consumers Association of Subang and Shah Alam, Selangor Jacob George berkata kepada Malay Mail:
"It's stupid to charge 20 sen for each plastic bag on Saturdays. On what basis did they decide on the price? We were never consulted. People might think that Cassa had a role in determining the price of the plastic bag.

The 20-sen charge is simply too much. Don't get me wrong, I fully support this campaign as it is very good for the environment. However, charging for plastic bags defeats the whole purpose. This is a good campaign but it needs to be finetuned. "
Selain itu, Menurut Malay Mail, Pengurus Kanan Undang-undang Pusat Aduan Pengguna Kebangsaan, Vahsudevan Perumal turut mempertikaikan langkah mengenakan caj ke atas pengguna yang mahu menggunakan beg plastik:
"Just last week, we received four complaints about the charge for plastic bags. These people were not even aware of the campaign and felt no sufficient notice was given about the 'No Plastic Bag Day' campaign.

Charging 20 sen for plastic bags is totally unfair. The people pay for the products they buy and on top of that they have to pay for the plastic bags. If they are giving plastic bags for a small fee, it defeats the purpose of the campaign .

Either you give plastic bags or you don't. The campaign is for shops throughout Selangor but so far only major hypermarkets are getting involved. What about the smaller outfits?

Tahun lepas Penang buat Hari Isnin sahaja.

Askum bro... Bab nie kekadang aku memikir positif skit tp nak bg cadangan... boleh dilaksanakan hari tanpa plastik..tp boleh tak kita bwk plastik sendiri dan kedai kene deduct 20sen kepada kita setiap plastik yg kita bwk.. ermm lagi satu apa kata pihak kerajaan negeri usahakan kepada beg kertas ker or smt yg mudah dilupuskan.. Tatkala ini, mmg kedai2 mengalami kemurungan jualan mereka tp kalo nak charge 20sen tue sgt melampau..bg alternatif lain seperti yg diatas sy katakan.. baru win2 situation.. tq.

bila semua dah scan dan total up, diorang tanya nak plastik beg tak? aku pun cakap nak lah. habih nak bawak macamana? diorang ckp, satu beg plastik 20 sen. hari sabtu tak dak plastik bag. green day. satu s'ngor. dah sah ni khalid punya kerja.

    -anti eli wong-

i'm not going to agreed on 20cent charges per plastic bag as oppose to ikea 5cent per plastic bag.

but I'm full support on Saturday no plastic bag day. i've read a comment here lamenting that how bad is the plastic bag pollution is to the world we live in as compare to pig farming. Let me tell u, it is the same.

I did a piece on plastic bag pollution on www.bortindistress.com, and I urge Malaysian to start recycling plastic bag everyday(not just Saturday). Please think of the future of world and someday dial down our politiking. Don't get drag down by those stupid politician and start worrying about our world.

I too hope unspinners could promote the usage of reused shopping bag and ban the high price of 20cent per plastic bag which i find absurd. for 5 cent you could get a big plastic bag in IKEA and the fund donanted to enviro movement as per oppose to others who put it in their pocket as profit.

    down with the capitalsm!
